DCConnect kicked off the year by attending our first international event of 2025—the prestigious PTC 2025 in beautiful Hawaii! This gathering brought together top industry experts, thought leaders, and innovators, creating an incredible space for discussions on the future of connectivity. It was an absolute pleasure to be part of such a dynamic event, surrounded by brilliant minds and breathtaking scenery.  Throughout the conference, our team had the opportunity to engage in insightful conversations, exchange ideas, and explore the latest trends shaping the industry. The collaborative energy at PTC 2025 was truly inspiring, reinforcing the importance of global partnerships and innovation in shaping the future of digital infrastructure.  A heartfelt Mahalo to everyone who took the time to meet with the DCConnect team! As the year comes to a close, what better way to finish off than by going the extra mile? That’s exactly what the DCConnect team did at ITW Asia 2024 ! Not only did we show up—we stood out! Here’s a breakdown:  1. The Automation Booth  Booth #409 was a hotspot for conversations, insights, and, of course, a bit of fun! We were thrilled to engage with so many attendees curious about our cutting-edge NaaS (Network-as-a-Service) platforms , international connectivity , and automation solutions.  To top it all off, our spin-the-wheel games added an element of thrill, allowing us to share some love through our merchandise, handy cardholders and camera covers to exclusive tote bags. 2. Panel Session  Beyond the booth, we were honored to contribute to the thought leadership at ITW Asia. Our Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), Charmond Tsang , was invited to speak at the panel session discussing the exciting topic of “Infrastructure for AI Across Asia.” It was an electric moment to see Charmond join the stage with other industry experts, sharing insights and strategies to build and support the growing AI ecosystem across the region. The audience engagement was phenomenal, making this a highlight not only for DCConnect but also for the event itself  3. Signed Agreement  Without a doubt, the highlight of the event was the signing of a groundbreaking agreement between DCConnect and Cybernet. This collaboration marks the beginning of a transformative journey to accelerate Cybernet’s digital transformation, integrating their network resources into our global ecosystem. By joining forces, we are now better equipped than ever to deliver fully automated solutions, from pricing to provisioning and strengthen our collective capabilities in the evolving tech landscape.  All these incredible moments at ITW Asia wouldn’t have been possible without you —our partners, clients, and colleagues. Thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth, joined our discussions, and celebrated these milestones with us.  As we close out the year, we’re excited to continue growing, innovating, and collaborating with you in 2025 and beyond. Soaking up the Bali ambiance at BATIC 2024 The DCConnect team, consisting of Charmond Tsang, Simon Ang, Rinesa Diola, and Regina, had the opportunity to enjoy the sun, surf the waves, and connect with industry leaders. This year marks our third time attending BATIC, and here are the highlights and memorable moments of BATIC 2024.  A Week of Networking and Collaboration  Over the three-day conference, we attended an impressive 50 meetings with companies from across Asia and the globe. While catching up with familiar friends and meeting new faces, we had the opportunity to delve into innovative solutions and discuss potential collaborations. Many partners have also scheduled meetings with our CEO, Henry Lam, in Malaysia following the BATIC event. This highlights the significant impact and potential of the connections made at the conference.  The Exclusive GLF Lounge   As members of the Global Leaders Forum (GLF), we had access to the exclusive GLF lounge. This private space provided a conducive environment for efficient and effective meetings with our partners.  Beach Day with the MEF Leaders  What’s the point of coming to Bali if you don’t enjoy the beach? This year at BATIC, we were invited by MEF leaders, Pascal and Jay for a truly awesome discussion by the beach. We can’t wait to continue the conversation and meet with you all at MEF GNE in Dallas!  Uniting Visionaries in a Celebration of Innovation  BATIC 2024 was more than just a conference; it was a celebration of innovation and collaboration. From insightful discussions to vibrant networking events, every aspect of the event exceeded our expectations. A big thanks to Telin for organizing such a spectacular event and providing a platform for industry leaders to connect. 

This year, a landmark event unfolded in Southeast Asia – the inaugural SIJORI Week, a brainchild of the Interconnect World. This exciting initiative brings together Singapore, Johor, and Riau – the renowned growth triangle – fostering cross-border collaboration in the ever-evolving digital landscape. DCConnect is thrilled to have been a part of this historic event!  Batam Interconnect World Forum 2024  On July 15th, the Batam Interconnect World Forum by W.Media – Global, shone brightly, ignited by the connections made by our very own DCConnect Indonesia team, Knez Mardin and Syafenri Deputra. The day was a whirlwind of stimulating discussions, sparking new ideas, and ultimately painting a brighter future for regional connectivity. We are incredibly grateful for the opportunity to have exchanged ideas with brilliant minds and engaged in inspiring conversations. But that wasn’t all! We also had the privilege of touring the impressive SEAX new Cable Landing Station in Batam and the cutting-edge Omni Data Center by Solnet Indonesia.  Johor Interconnect World Forum 2024  Following the success of the Batam event, our Singapore and Malaysia team, Charlene Kok and Joe Earn Ooi, actively participated in the Johor Interconnect World Forum. This event, held in line with the SIJORI initiative, provided another valuable platform for connecting with industry leaders. We relished the opportunity to delve into the latest trends in technology and telecommunications, exchanging insights on data center advancements and groundbreaking connectivity innovations. The forum was truly an energizing experience!  A World of Opportunity Awaits  Having participated in both the Batam and Johor events, our eyes have been opened to the vast potential for collaboration and innovation within the digital and telecommunications industry. This experience has ignited a fire within us, and we promise to bring the innovation and connections gained back to you! Glad to be back at GCCM Berlin this year! The last event of June for DCConnect Global was the GCCM Europe by Carrier Community, held on June 13-14 in Berlin. As you know, we always return to this event. This year, Charmond Tsang and Simon Ang represented DCConnect Global, engaging in many activities and enjoying the event. Here is a recap in case you missed our live updates on social media.  Networking and Partying!  It was the perfect time to reconnect with industry experts from around Europe and worldwide who are ready to shape the future of telecom together. We were excited for two days packed with innovation and collaboration. The schedule was filled with back-to-back meetings and engaging discussions. We exchanged valuable insights and innovations with fellow experts in connectivity, IP transit, SDN, automation, and more. We could see that many collaborations would happen this year.  Panel Discussion Session  What a great discussion Charmond Tsang and the experts had at the GCCM Europe 2024 panel session! The exciting topic, “How to Interconnect Now and in the Future – Which Choices and New Standards Do We Have?” explored the biggest trends in connectivity, cost-effective interconnectivity, the benefits of the expanding internet exchange ecosystem, and the role of data centers and internet exchange providers in meeting digital and data demands. The room was filled with insightful contributions! A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for this exciting session and to all the panelists who shared their expertise.  Last but certainly not least… award night!  DCConnect Global was named the “Best Innovative Value-Added Service Provider” at the CC-Global Awards 2024!  Charmond Tsang proudly accepted the trophy on behalf of DCConnect Global’s dedicated team of experts last night in Berlin. Fueled by a passion for innovation, DCConnect Global is shaping the future of smarter, faster, and more connected telecom experiences. From trending tech and telecom insights to innovation in data centers and connectivity, the excitement continues to rise in every event and conversation we have. This week, DCConnect had the opportunity to attend the highly anticipated GCCM Asia event by Carrier Community.  Day 1  The first day of GCCM Asia by Carrier Community kicked off with a dynamic panel session featuring Charmond Tsang and a host of other experts. Charmond Tsang took the stage for an engaging roundtable discussion on the theme “Wholesale Industry in the Era of Data and AI – Navigating Challenges and Seizing Opportunities.” The energy in the room was electric, and the panelists’ diverse perspectives sparked insightful conversations. A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for this exciting moment and to all the panelists who shared their expertise on day one of GCCM Asia.  Day 2  A brand new day brought new conversations at GCCM Asia. Today, Simon Ang and Charlene Kok established valuable connections with industry leaders from across the APAC region and beyond. It’s always a great time to meet new and familiar faces, exchange insights, and foster innovation through collaboration. DCConnect had an amazing opportunity to connect and collaborate with internet experts at APRICOT 2024 in Bangkok! Represented by Charmond Tsang, we participated from February 27th to 29th, enjoying three days packed with innovation and discussions.  The event brought together peering coordinators, telecommunication professionals, and tech leaders from across the Asia Pacific region. We had productive meetings and engaging conversations with familiar faces and new acquaintances alike.  We enjoyed the discussion with all the experts, such as Asosiasi Penyelenggara Jasa Internet Indonesia (APJII), Digital Realty, @Tokyo (AT TOKYO Corporation), IPTP Networks, MyIX, Digital Edge DC, KINX Inc, HSPnet Indonesia, and many others that we can mention one by one.    Beyond the formal event, DCCConnect also had the chance to build relationships during a fun-filled networking dinner with Hong Kong telco and tech professionals in Bangkok. It was a fantastic way to unwind and connect on a more personal level.  Overall, It was a fantastic experience to be part of APRICOT 2024 and contribute to the vibrant discussions shaping the future of the internet in the Asia Pacific region. In the heart of Dubai, Capacity Middle East 2024 wrraped over three bustling days, and DCConnect Global seized the opportunity to connect with remarkable individuals, sharing insights that surpass the region’s connectivity landscape and extend beyond. The dynamic event provided a platform to engage with industry leaders, aligning our innovative contributions with the inspiring work shaping the future of technology and telecommunications.  Representing DCConnect Global, Joe Earn Oi navigated through a series of meetings and discussions with industry leaders. Aloha! We joyfully rang in the New Year at Pacific Telecommunications Council (PTC) 2024 in Honolulu, Hawaii, from January 21-24. Charmond Tsang, representing DCConnect, facilitated meaningful connections and engaging discussions, leaving a lasting impact.   As we step into the PTC event location, we are surprised to see the finalists’ board for the PTC Awards 2024. Engaging with friends and partners set the stage for an unforgettable event.
